Tina Homstrom
My name is Tina Holmstrom, and I am seeking to be on the high school SBDM council. I have a son entering 7th grade next year and I am looking forward to getting more involved in the Beechwood School community. I am a Registered Nurse of 19 years and currently work in the Emergency Department at St. Elizabeth. I volunteer at the Fort Mitchell Hoxworth Blood Bank, and former EMT/FF volunteer for the city of Erlanger and Crescent Springs. My husband and I are looking forward to our son entering high school and watching him grow at Beechwood. I am excited to get more involved in my son's education and meeting parents.

Korey Yelton
Dear Beechwood Community,
Thank you for the opportunity to be reviewed as a candidate for the High School SBDM Council at Beechwood. I am the mother of 4 children – McKinley (graduated 2022), Miles (senior), Macy (9th grade), and Maggie (5th grade). My husband Chris and I moved to Fort Mitchell in 2018 so that our children could all be a part of this amazing school community. Despite the older kids not starting off here from Kindergarten, it was a very smooth transition and has been a great experience for all of us.
I graduated from Miami University in Ohio and went into banking shortly thereafter. I am a Branch Manager for a national mortgage company called Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. This is my 24th year in the mortgage business. I love helping people become homeowners…especially those who didn’t previously think it possible.
In 2018, I was invited to serve on the Board of Directors at Housing Opportunities of Northern Kentucky (HONK). HONK is a non-profit organization that works to bring the underserved into homeownership through education and a lease to own program. In 2021, I was elected to be the President of The Board, a position I held until my term ended at the end of December 2023. I continue to serve on the Client Selection Committee where we review potential candidates for the lease to own program.
I last served as a parent representative for the high school SBDM for the 2022-2023 school year. This was a great opportunity for me to stand for the ethics and values that Beechwood embodies. My most significant contribution in this role was that I helped to evaluate numerous teacher and staff candidates for employment at Beechwood. It would be my pleasure to again serve the Beechwood Community as a parent member of the SBDM Council.
Please let me know if you have any questions or want any additional information about me. I can be reached at 859-620-8053 or by email at [email protected].
Thank you,
